Welcome to our new and additional offerings at the Elixirs For Life Studio. We have just finished construction on our space and our next steps will be to thoughtfully add furniture and art to create a harmonious, spiritual space for you. We believe that creating a gathering space for people to meet, share and learn how to live a joyous and peaceful life is essential in today’s topsy turvy world.
A personal spiritual journey can be a lonely one; I speak this from personal experience. Spiritual fulfillment for me starts with having a safe and comfortable space filled with people who are or want to be awakened to their highest purpose. The entire team at Elixirs For Life has undergone great awakenings this year. Some have moved onto different callings and others are working tirelessly to awaken and open to the voice of their soul – opening to their wholeness.
Over the past year, we have each faced many challenges that we have worked through by holding space for each other, having open discussions during times of discord, and overcoming personality differences as we grow together as a cohesive team to develop new elixir formulas to support the challenges.
Awakening to wholeness is not for the faint of heart. Each of us has had to open up to very vulnerable emotions and feelings. We’ve had to face a lifetime of default behaviours with protective barriers and have dug deeply to unearth the triggers, and even deeper to reveal the beliefs that have ultimately affected our physical, mental and emotional health.
Uncomfortable? Yes! Painful? Sometimes. Embarrassing? Quite often. Difficult? Definitely!
The easy way out is to continue to listen to that voice of protection, what we refer to as the Ego voice. This is the voice and part of you whose job it is to keep you safe. It uses the words, “should’ and “could” (shaming words), and phrases such as, “I look like an idiot”, “I’m not smart enough, good enough…” etc., etc. The list is seemingly endless. The Ego voice is the voice that is full of fear and conjures up all kinds of stories that become our reality and perception of our world. It completely ignores our soul voice that can only provide words of unconditional love.
For myself, mastering the ego voice and opening to the wholeness of my soul is my life purpose. All of my experiences over the first 66 years of my life have brought me to this place. I bring with me experience as an empathic healer, community facilitator, business leader, reiki master, stepparent, parent and wife. Throughout my life I have followed the voice of my soul, often interrupted by my ego voice and totally confused by others’ feelings because I did not understand or discern my empathic gift. Unravelling all of this is a work in progress as I open up new layers of myself.
Having a community to support me in my journey has been a gift and a necessity. Doing it alone is not an option. Human connection equates to human spiritual evolution, especially in a safe and supportive environment. This safe and supportive environment is that which we are offering to you.
Starting Wednesday, February 19th, I invite you to tea for an exploration of how our ego works and where it came from. We will meet at 10:30 to 12:00 pm in our new space at 1170 Kensington Crescent NW. Join me to explore “Un-layering Myself”.
This informal tea time discussion will be held each Wednesday for 4 weeks - February 19th , 25th , March 5th and 12th. The introductory investment is your time and commitment to the sessions. I look forward to sharing our experiences and to assisting you on your journey to wholeness.
